As goosebumps formed up and down his spine, Elliot caught the slight glimpse of a white flicker out of the corner of his eye. With a jerk, he spun around to see what it was, but the flicker was gone. Is that you?
, he questioned, How can I help you?
As he paced back and forth across his bedroom, he waited for the inevitable whisper. As if hearing it for the first time, Elliot stopped on the spot as soon as the enchanting whisper began.
